Whirlpool Corp. (Whirlpool, Amana, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air) brands have a new way to handle warranty service calls. You must now call the 800 number for the respective brand to schedule service instead of calling the service company direct. You can also schedule the service on line from the appropriate web site. Your warranty is typically 1 year full parts and labor from installation date with some parts on Maytag, KitchenAid and Jenn-Air having a longer parts warranty.
If you have purchased a new home, your warranty starts the date of closing on your new home.
Here are the numbers for calling service: Note - We suggest you request either A&M Home Services, Provider #61937 for in-warranty service or you can use them for non-warranty service. You can also use Century Appliance for non-warranty service.
